I had the absolute sweetest evening with Helen, Nick, and their two boys for their family session at Watson’s Mill in Manotick! 🤍

This was actually my first time ever shooting at Watson’s Mill and I seriously don’t know how I haven’t photographed here sooner!! It was SUCH a beautiful spot. Between the historic buildings, the river, all of the greenery, and the most gorgeous golden light coming through the trees, there were so many beautiful little backdrops everywhere we turned.

We spent the evening wandering around, getting all of the classic family photos of course, but also letting everyone laugh, move around, and just be themselves. Those candid, in between moments will forever be some of my favourites to photograph.

I also always love stealing mom and dad away for a few photos of just the two of them because when was the last time you had photos together that weren’t a selfie?!

I absolutely loved how this gallery came together and I think it’s safe to say Watson’s Mill has officially become one of my new favourite spots for family photos in Manotick!
